Doug Deckmann

As a financial consultant specializing in real estate transactions, Doug Deckmann provides financial modeling and analytical support to a diverse group of clients around the country and internationally. Mr. Deckmann conducts and presents his analysis in accordance with the real estate industry’s standards and conventions. However, he also recognizes that every deal is different. By creating customized financial models, competitive advantages that can be leveraged to the client's benefit often become apparent.

Mr. Deckmann leads Bella Terra Partners' development and refinement of the company’s core analytical models and works on special projects which provide the company with market insights and specialization unavailable to Bella Terra’s competitors.

After a nine year engineering career during which he honed his analytical skills in the design, building and repair of chemical plants, Mr. Deckmann returned to business school to acquire the tools needed to apply his analytical abilities to business and finance. He has managed teams of analysts at Capital One Financial and more recently provided operational analysis at regional developer Carl M. Freeman Companies. Mr. Deckmann received his Mechanical Engineering degree from Stanford and his MBA from Duke.
